Membership Terms.

Who we are
TNBA is operated by TNBA Limited, a not-for-profit company limited by guarantee, registered in England and Wales, company number 17120618. Registered office: Unit 8 Atlas Business Centre, Oxgate Lane, London NW2 7HJ. Contact: info@tnba.org.uk.
What membership is
Founding Salon Membership costs £99 a year. It is for salon owners and self-employed nail professionals with their own business. Your price is locked for two years from the day you join. After that, the standard price applies (currently £149 a year).
What you get
Access to the TNBA Vault documents, the Salon Business Health Check, cost survey results before non-members, online member meetings, email support, a founding member certificate, your salon listed on our site if you wish, and your voice in TNBA letters to government and councils. We add to this over time. If we ever remove a benefit, we will tell you before your renewal.
Your 14-day cooling-off period
You can cancel within 14 days of joining for a full refund, no reason needed. Email info@tnba.org.uk and we refund within 14 days to the card you paid with. If you downloaded the Vault documents during those 14 days, we may ask you to confirm you have deleted your copies before refunding.
Renewal and cancellation
At checkout you choose whether your membership renews automatically each year. If you choose automatic renewal, we email you a reminder before each renewal. If not, your membership simply ends after the year unless you renew it yourself. You can cancel any time from your member account or by emailing info@tnba.org.uk. If you cancel, your membership runs to the end of the year you have paid for, and no further payments are taken. We do not refund part-years after the 14-day cooling-off period.
Using the documents
Vault documents are for use in your own salon business. You can download, print, edit and use them in your salon. You cannot share, sell or give them to businesses that are not TNBA members, publish them, or use them to build a competing product. If your membership ends, you can keep using documents you downloaded while a member, but you no longer receive updates.
What our documents are, and are not
TNBA documents and guidance are practical business tools. They are not legal, HR, tax, insurance, fire safety or local authority advice. You are responsible for checking that anything you use fits your salon and meets the rules that apply to you. To the extent the law allows, TNBA Limited is not liable for losses caused by reliance on the documents. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Membership behaviour
We can decline or end a membership (with a pro-rata refund) if it is used to harass others, break the law, or share Vault documents outside the terms above.
Your data
We use your details to run your membership: payments, member emails, and the services above. See our Privacy Policy. We never sell your data. Your survey answers are only ever used in combined, anonymous form.
Price changes
Founding member pricing is locked for two years. After any price change we will always email you before a renewal at a new price, with time to cancel.
Patrons
TNBA Patrons are businesses and people who support TNBA’s work with a contribution, from £250 or an amount of their choosing. Patron contributions are not charitable donations, are not eligible for Gift Aid, and are not membership fees. Patrons are thanked publicly on our Partners page unless they prefer not to be. A Patron contribution buys recognition and our thanks – it does not buy influence. Patrons have no say over TNBA’s policy positions, research findings, member data or how contributions are spent, and TNBA remains fully independent of every Patron. If you become a Patron by mistake or change your mind within 14 days, email info@tnba.org.uk and we will refund your contribution in full.
Changes to these terms
If we make a meaningful change, we will email members at least 30 days before it takes effect.
The legal bits
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. Disputes go to the courts of England and Wales. These terms do not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.
