Every submission TNBA makes to government, councils and regulators is published here in full, with the reply when it comes. If it is said on behalf of the nail industry, you can read it. The first went to HM Treasury on 9 September 2026.

How TNBA decides what to say
Evidence first
Positions are built from published data, primary sources and TNBA’s own surveys. Where the evidence does not exist yet, we say so and we go and collect it.
Members are asked
Members see draft positions before they go and can object. As membership grows, positions on major issues will be put to a members’ vote.
No party, no sponsor
TNBA takes no position on party politics and works with whoever can help the industry. Supporters and Patrons do not set positions. Every submission is signed by TNBA alone.
Who we work with
On specific issues TNBA joins forces with other bodies that share the aim: the National Hair and Beauty Federation, the British Beauty Council, BABTAC, the All-Party Parliamentary Group for Beauty, Aesthetics and Wellbeing, trade press, platforms and community media. Allies on the issue, never partners in governance.
